To properly care for your brush, wet the bristles under warm running water.

Avoid getting water into the ferrule as this will damage the glue and eventually lead to the ferrule becoming lose or even falling off completely.

Apply a cleaner, such as baby shampoo, to the bristles and swirl in your palm to work it in.

"I have always found baby shampoo much better than expensive cleaners" says Sabrina.

Rinse the brush thoroughly until the water runs clear.

Gently squeeze out the excess water and hang the brush with head pointing upwards  to dry, or lay it flat on a towel.

Do not dry the brush standing up as this could cause damage to the ferrule.

If you care for your brushes properly, wash them regularly then they will last a lot longer and keep shape and density.
